Don PhilpottDon Philpott has been writing, reporting and broadcasting about security, civil unrest and terrorism for almost 40 years. For 20 years he was a senior correspondent with Reuters-Press Association, the wire service, traveling the world reporting on major events and trouble spots including Northern Ireland, Lebanon, Israel, South Africa and the Far East.

He is now senior correspondent with Homeland Defense Journal, the leading homeland security publication in the U.S. , and he writes for magazines and newspapers in the United States and Europe.

He is the author of more than 50 books and is a regularly contributor to radio and television programs on security issues. His latest book to be published this fall is The Building Security Handbook.

He has produced special reports on Protecting the Athens Olympics, The Threat from Dirty Bombs, Anti-Terrorism Measures in the UK, The National Guard , Nanotechnology and the U.S, Military and The Global Impact of the London Bombings, published in August, and which resulted in a number of radio interviews in the U.S. and UK.

Bob JordanBob Jordan is an award-winning writer, photographer, artist and broadcaster. Jordan is an expert in mass communications and strategic planning. A retired Marine Corps major, Jordan also served as a combat correspondent in Vietnam and distinguished himself as the Marine Corps/DoD spokesman in Beirut , Lebanon , in 1983. In that role, he reported the terrorist truck bomber attack on October 23, which took 241 lives. He appeared on "20/20," "Nightline," "Frontline," "CNN," and was later the subject of a Bill Moyers special report.
Jordan was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal and the USMCCCA's special Distinguished Performance Award for his service in Beirut . During his other military service, Jordan also received the Bronze Star Medal, with "V" for valor; the Air medal with two flight/strike awards; the Combat Action Ribbon with one bronze star; Combat Aircrew Wings; and numerous other personal, campaign and service awards.

He's the founding president of the Beirut Veterans of America and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Marine Corps League, the Vietnam Veterans of America and the U. S. Marine Corps Combat Correspondents Assn.

Jordan is a former editor of Homeland Defense Journal and was a contributing author for The American War Machine. His other writing credits include Flying Tiger magazine, Leatherneck magazine , the Marine Corps Gazette, Sea Power magazine , TechTrends, International, Police Magazine, World Market Perspective, Defense Electronics, Defense World, Homeland Defense Journal and various newspapers.

Paul SerlucoPaul Serluco was a senior manager in the defense industry for more than 20 years and has been a consultant with NASA and the aviation and aerospace industries. He is also a seasoned corporate money manager with 20 years experience in the financial arena. Mr. Serluco has also conducted a number of Survey / Market Research Reports for both emerging growth Homeland Security companies and organizations. He is a results-oriented, energetic leader. He has strategic vision and upholds the most exacting reporting standards. Mr. Serluco is also an Adjunct Professor of Economics at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

Claude SalhaniClaude Salhani, UPI International Editor
Claude Salhani is UPI's International Editor and a political analyst. His columns appear regularly in the Commentary pages of the Washington Times and the Khaleej Times in Dubai , and are carried widely on the UPI wire. Mr. Salhani also appears on national and international TV and radio.

Mr. Salhani has gained wide experience in the Middle East where he spent about 18 years as a journalist and traveled extensively in the area, as well to 75 countries around the world.

Mr. Salhani's assignments include the Jordanian-Palestinian Black September clashes, the 1973 Arab-Israeli War, the Lebanese Civil War, the Turkish Invasion of Cyprus, the conflict in the Dhofar (Oman), the Iraq-Iran War, the Israeli invasion of Lebanon and subsequent siege of Beirut, the Iranian Revolution, the 1990 Gulf War, as well as the Czech Velvet Revolution and the downfall of Communism in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union. And most recently, the war in Iraq. 

He is the author of "Black September to Desert Storm: A Journalist in the Middle East ," and a contributing author to "The Iraq War," UPI's recent recount of the latest conflict.

Mr. Salhani, who has also worked for Reuters, was based in Beirut, Cairo, Paris, Brussels, London, New York City and Washington.  

His articles have appeared the San Diego Union Tribune, The Times (London), the San Francisco Chronicle, Foreign Service Journal, Middle East Policy Journal and others. He is fluent in French, Italian, Arabic and has a working knowledge of Spanish. 

For the past three years he has  been assigned by the Organization for Cooperation and Security in Europe to teach courses in journalistic ethics and conflict resolution in Kosovo.

He holds a Masters in Conflict Resolution.
